Laundry detergent and capsules, private label

Twelve references on the laundry shelf: six capsule lines from the 10-piece doypack to the 60-piece box, and six liquids — white, colour and softener — in 4.8 litres and 900 millilitres. All available under the very. brand or your own label.

Why three capsule formats

Each format sells to a different person. The 10-piece doypack is for someone trying it for the first time or unwilling to tie money into a large box. The 20-piece bucket is the base format, bought monthly. The 60-piece box is for the large household and for the shopper who compares price per wash rather than price per pack.

A small shelf will not hold all three. The 20-piece bucket is where to start, and the 60 gets added only where the line already sells consistently.

White laundry capsules
10 (doypack) · 20 (bucket) · 60 (box)
Colour capsules
20 (bucket) · 60 (box)
Liquid detergent, white and colour
4.8 L (160 washes) · 900 ml (30 washes)
Concentrated softener
4.8 L (160 washes) · 900 ml (36 washes)

Price per wash, not per bottle

The wash count is on the pack and it is the shelf argument: 4.8 litres do 160 washes, 900 millilitres do 30. A shopper comparing bottles sees two prices; one comparing washes sees which is actually cheap. Worth putting forward on the shelf.

Price depends on channel and volume, so we do not publish it: the same product carries a different price for a corner shop and for a thirty-store chain. Tell us the store type and the volumes you expect and you get a list worked out for your case.

Questions we actually get

Which sells better, capsules or liquid?

It depends on the store, and we do not have your sales data to answer this seriously. Shelves usually carry both, because they are different buyers: capsules are bought for convenience, liquid for price per wash.
